WHAT IS TUDCA?

TUDCA (Tauroursodeoxycholic acid) is a bile salt that is found naturally in the body. When normal bile salts reach the intestines, they can be metabolised by bacteria and bound to a taurine molecule to become TUDCA.

TUDCA is known to help Cholestasis, which is a bile acid back-up in the liver. It competes with the toxicity and protects the cells from dying. As an endogenous bile acid, TUDCA encourages natural bile flow and inhibits the formation of toxic steroid metabolites – the stuff that causes bile blockage in the first place. 

That is why TUDCA is a favourite supplement among athletes, because steroids are infamous for inhibiting the production and flow of bile from the liver. DOSAGE

1 to 4 (maximum) x 300mg capsules daily with food, staggering intake.

TUDCA is produced naturally in the body. There are no known negative side effects from the recommended dosages. 

If negative side effects should occur, discontinue use immediately and consult your physician.

Diarrhea have on rare occasions been reported from dosages of 1,000 – 1,500 mg per day
